Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
These Terms govern your use of Signesis. By creating an account or using the service you accept them in full; if you do not accept them, do not use Signesis.
2. The service
Signesis is a platform for managing, scheduling and publishing social media content across multiple accounts and platforms. The service is under active development: features may change, and supported platforms may be added or withdrawn over time.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity carried out through your account. Notify Signesis promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization. Two-factor authentication is available and recommended. If you enable it, you are responsible for safeguarding your authenticator device and the one-time recovery codes issued to you. Losing access to both may prevent you from signing in and may require you to contact support to regain access.
4. Connected social accounts
You may connect only those accounts you own or are authorized to manage. Connecting an account authorizes Signesis to publish the content you schedule to it and to read the public profile information - such as the handle and follower count - displayed in your workspace. Nothing is published that you have not created and scheduled yourself. Authorization may be withdrawn at any time, either from within Signesis or from the platform's own settings.
5. Third-party platforms
The platforms you connect are independent of Signesis and are governed by their own terms, by which you remain bound; your use of Signesis must not place you in breach of them. Publishing depends on those platforms' APIs, and delivery cannot be guaranteed: a platform may be unavailable, alter its rules, apply rate limits, or reject content. Responsibility for what is published under your accounts remains yours.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Signesis to upload, store, publish or transmit unlawful content, spam, content you have no right to publish, or content that breaches the terms of any connected platform, nor to post to accounts you neither own nor manage. In particular, child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and will never be tolerated: Signesis may scan uploaded media to detect it, and will remove such content, suspend the account responsible, and report it to the competent authorities. Attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service are likewise prohibited.
7. AI-generated content
The AI writing assistant produces suggestions, not finished work. Suggestions are generated by third-party providers (see the Privacy Policy), may be inaccurate, and must be reviewed before publication. Responsibility for content published under your name rests with you, whether or not it was drafted with assistance.
8. Subscription and billing
Paid plans and add-ons (extra connected accounts and extra media storage) are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically each month until cancelled. Each plan includes a media-storage quota and an account limit; uploads beyond the quota are refused until space is freed or more storage is purchased. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time in Settings → Billing and remain active until the end of the paid period. Where you downgrade to a plan permitting fewer connected accounts, you select which accounts to remove. If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it; while it remains unpaid, the account may be moved to the free Starter plan until payment succeeds. Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they apply to you, and you may cancel before then.
9. Right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from a new paid subscription within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, using the "Withdraw from contract here" button in Settings → Billing. The subscription then ends immediately, every payment for it is refunded in full, and a confirmation is sent to you by email. The period runs from the start of the subscription: upgrading to another plan or adding extra accounts or storage to an existing subscription does not start a new one. Outside this period, refunds are at Signesis's discretion. Signesis may refuse repeated withdrawals that abuse this right, as described in section 13.
10. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Signesis a limited, non-exclusive licence to store that content and to publish it on your behalf, as instructed by you, for as long as you use the service. The Signesis platform itself, including its software, design and branding, remains the property of Signesis.
11. Copyright complaints
Upload only content you own or have permission to use. If you believe that content stored on Signesis infringes your copyright, send a notice through the contact page, including: your name and contact details; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the material you believe infringes it, such as its URL; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf; and your physical or electronic signature. Signesis acts promptly on valid notices by removing the material or disabling access to it, and informs the user who uploaded it. If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice the same way. Accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright will be terminated. The same channel accepts notices of other illegal content, including under the EU Digital Services Act.
12. Data and retention
Media attached to a published post is deleted once the post passes your plan's analytics window - 7, 30, 90 or 365 days, depending on the plan. Retain your own copies of anything you wish to keep. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
13. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. Signesis may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, that is used unlawfully, or where required to protect the service or its users. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your content may be deleted.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
Signesis is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. No guarantee is given that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular post will be delivered.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signesis is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, nor for any loss of data, revenue, profit or business arising from use of the service - including posts that fail to publish, publish late, or are removed by a platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnification
You are responsible for the content you upload, store or publish through Signesis. You will indemnify and hold Signesis harmless from any claims, damages, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or of anyone else's rights.
17. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time by publishing a new version on this website. Significant changes will be notified by email, and the date shown above always reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the unenforceable provision is to be applied to the fullest extent permitted by law.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, and disputes arising from them are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings in the courts there.
